It has been 35 years since Dinosaurs first premiered and introduced audiences to the Sinclair family. The series became a defining part of early 90s television, blending groundbreaking puppetry with humor that still resonates today. Now, that legacy is being revisited with a new collectible line that is still in development.
Monogram International is giving fans an early look at its upcoming Dinosaurs 3D Figural Bag Clip Series 1, a blind bag collectible set inspired by the classic show. While final production samples have not been released yet, preview images reveal a lineup that pulls directly from some of the most recognizable characters.
The Sinclair family is front and center, including Earl, Fran, Robbie, Charlene, Baby Sinclair, and Grandma Ethyl. Supporting characters like Roy Hess and B.P. Richfield are also part of the mix, pointing to a lineup that goes beyond just the main cast. The preview also hints at novelty-style designs, including themed charms that reference memorable moments from the series.
As with other releases from Monogram, the figures are expected to come in blind packaging and feature a clip attachment for bags, keys, or display. The stylized look leans more animated while still capturing the personalities fans remember.
Since these are early preview images, details could still change before release. Paint applications, materials, and even the final assortment are all subject to adjustment as the figures move through production. This is very much a first look rather than a final product reveal.
The timing lines up with the 35th anniversary of Dinosaurs, which debuted in 1991. Created by Jim Henson and his team, the show remains a standout for its mix of family comedy and social commentary. It is still widely remembered for Baby Sinclair’s iconic “Not the mama!” catchphrase.
The Dinosaurs 3D Figural Bag Clip Series 1 is currently expected to arrive this summer. For longtime fans, it offers a nostalgic return to the world of the Sinclairs, while collectors get an early glimpse at what could become a standout retro-inspired release.
More details, including final production samples and specific release timing, are expected soon.
